Patients frequently call our office looking for "testimonials" from patients we have treated. A case report is similar in some ways to a testimonial, but is published in a medical journal. An article by Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez and Dr. Isaacs published in the January/February 2007 issue of the peer-reviewed journal Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine included more than 30 case reports of patients with properly diagnosed cancer who responded to this nutritional/enzyme treatment.
Two books by Dr. Gonzalez, published after his death, include more than 100 case histories of patients who did well on this treatment with appropriately diagnosed cancer. Conquering Cancer: Volume One covers patients whose disease arose in the pancreas or breast; Volume Two is devoted to patients with other types of cancer. Please note that Federal privacy regulations prohibit our identifying patients by name or giving out their contact information. We are careful to protect our patients' privacy and will not give out their contact information under any circumstances.
Dr. Isaacs' article Evaluating Anecdotes and Case Reports can help you learn to recognize a well-written case report or testimonial. It was published in Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine in the March/April 2007 issue.
To address the common request for "statistics" for a given condition, Dr. Gonzalez and Dr. Isaacs wrote the article Statistics: Why Meaningful Statistics Cannot Be Generated From a Private Practice.
